The Dal Toso Company, distillation artisan, dates back
to the early twenties when Sante, founder of the family, estabilished his
own distillery taking advantage of the skill and knowledge gained when he
was employed by the Palma family distillery, land owbers in Villaga.
The business firmly anchored to th Veneto land, in particular the Basso Vicentino,
was continued by the eldest son Rino.
In 1963, after he broke away from the paternal company, Rino gave life to
another distillery in Ponte di Barbarano, specialized in the production of
grappa.
From the third generation of distillers and precisely from Mr. Sergio in co-operation
with his son Ivan and daughter Yvonne the Idea of producing quality grappa
from the monovine was born.
